Omar-led Govt has started ‘undermining, insulting’ elected representatives of JK: PDP MLA

Mir Muhammad Fayaz, PDP MLA.

Kupwara: Member of Legislative Assembly Kupwara, Mir Muhammad Fayaz on Thursday lashed out at National Conference-led government after minister for Health & Medical Education Sakina Itoo visited the sub-district hospital in his constituency without informing him.

Talking to news agency Kashmir News Observer, Mir said that Omar Abdullah-led government has started undermining and insulting elected representatives of JK.

“It is shocking that the minister took NC workers along with her while inspecting the hospital instead of the elected representative who has secured more than 50 percent of votes polled in the segment,” he said.

Mir, a senior PDP MLA , said that Omar Abdullah should behave as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir rather than representative of National Conference.

He also criticized Omar Abdullah for failing to visit the victims of devastating fire of Hyhama Kupwara.

“Omar Abdullah today visited the house a NC worker for lunch in Kupwara but didn’t visit the fire victims. If he can visit fire victims of Warwan Kishtwar, what was wrong in visiting those of Kupwara?” Mir questioned.
