MLA Langate raises poster seeking restoration of Article 370, release of political prisoners

Srinagar: As soon as the session begun on day 4, the Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather adjourned the session for 15 minutes after the Kashmir based legislators clashed with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) following the poster raised by MLA Langate, Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh demanding restoration of Article 370 and release of political prisoners was raised in the house.

As soon as the session begun, the Leader of Opposition (LoP), Sunil Sharma termed the resolution passed yesterday as unconstitutional.

The speech was intervened by the MLA Langate, who raised the poster in the house, demanding restoration of Article 370 and release of political prisoners.

However, the BJP legislators clashed with the Kashmir based legislators after they tried to snatch the poster from him.

The speaker however, adjourned the session for 15 minutes. (KNO)
