Srinagar: A fire erupted at the MLA Hostel in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area on Tuesday morning, prompting an immediate response from fire and emergency services, officials said.
According to an official, the blaze was reported early in the day, with smoke seen billowing from the premises. Firefighting teams rushed to the spot and launched efforts to douse the flames.
The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire remain unclear at this stage. Authorities have confirmed that no injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
