Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a new wave of prosperity and equitable development over the past few years under Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“In Jammu and Kashmir, the changes in recent years exemplify inclusive development, eliminating biases and fostering hope and stability among the people. Whether in villages or cities, the reduction of gaps between basic amenities and citizens’ aspirations is visibly evident,” he said.
Speaking about the recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir , LG Sinha said, “Over the past few years, grassroots democracy has deepened, and democratic ideals and constitutional values have become the guiding principles of our collective consciousness. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, Jammu and Kashmir is moving towards equality, opportunity, and social justice. Whether in villages or cities, the reduction of gaps between basic amenities and citizens’ aspirations is visibly evident.” (KNO)
