New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to distribute aid kits named ‘Saughat-e-Modi’ to 32 lakh ‘underprivileged Muslims’ on Eid and other religious occasions.

The initiative, led by the BJP’s Minority Morcha, was finalised in a meeting chaired by its president, Jamal Siddiqui. The campaign aims to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

Around 32,000 office-bearers of the Morcha will coordinate with mosques to identify beneficiaries and distribute the kits, which will include essentials for Eid celebrations and Iftar. Similar initiatives will be extended to Good Friday, Easter, Navroz, and the Indian New Year.

The Minority Morcha will also organise Eid Milan gatherings at the district level to foster communal harmony. Siddiqui said that the campaign seeks to uphold unity and inclusivity across communities.
