Ramban: Vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) came to a standstill on Friday afternoon after a mudslide struck the Chamba Seri area in Ramban district.
Officials from the traffic department confirmed that the landslip led to the complete suspension of traffic in both directions.
Road clearance operations are currently underway to restore the crucial highway link between Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
