Srinagar: A woman succumbed to grievous injuries following a reported sexual assault near Water Works Road in Nishat, Srinagar. She was declared brought dead at the hospital, police said on Sunday.
Police have registered an FIR under relevant sections at Police Station Nishat. Four accused have been arrested in connection with the crime, officials said.
District Police Srinagar stated that further investigation is underway and reaffirmed their commitment to justice and public safety.
