New Delhi: The Indian Armed Forces are fully prepared to deal with any escalation from Pakistan, said Wing Commander Vyomika Singh during a press briefing on Wednesday while addressing the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, India’s targeted missile strikes on terror camps across the border.

The three key officials present in the briefing were Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, a decorated helicopter pilot from the Indian Air Force; Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, a senior officer from the Indian Army’s Corps of Signals, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.

“India has demonstrated considerable restraint in its response. However, the Indian Armed Forces are fully prepared to respond to any misadventure by Pakistan meant to escalate the situation,” Wing Commander Singh was quoted as saying by NDTV.

Her remarks came after the Indian military carried out strikes on nine militancy targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
