Budgam: An elderly man lost his life after being hit by a moving train near the Mazhoma-Budgam railway section close to Kantabagh on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Ali Muhammad Mir, a resident of Sonar Kalipora Beerwah in Budgam district.
According to officials, the incident occurred when Mir was crossing the railway track and was struck by an oncoming train.
