Soibug: The 35th Battalion of CRPF on Tuesday organised the closing ceremony of a Basic Computer Course at Soibug in Budgam district.
The month-long skill development programme, which began on April 15, was held in collaboration with the Skill Development Committee of M/s Wyath Services Private Limited.
A total of 25 unemployed local youth were selected for the training program, which included theory classes, practical sessions, and on-the-job training.
The aim of the course was to equip participants with basic computer skills to improve their employment prospects and promote self-reliance.
Commandant of 35 Bn CRPF, Shri Vishnu Dwivedi, attended the event as the chief guest.
In his address, he highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering local youth. He said the skills acquired through this program would boost their confidence and open up avenues for employment and entrepreneurship.
He thanked the Ministry of Home Affairs and 35 Bn CRPF for funding and implementing the program, and appreciated the efforts of M/s Wyath Services Pvt. Ltd. for successfully conducting the training.
Dwivedi also congratulated all 25 participants for completing the course and wished them success in their future endeavours.
Certificates were distributed among all participants who successfully passed the course.
The event concluded with a group photograph featuring the participants and dignitaries, marking the end of a successful training initiative.
