Ahmedabad: In the incident of the plane crash near Ahmedabad airport earlier today, the State Police Control Room has confirmed that the Air India aircraft was carrying 242 passengers. The information was reported by ANI.
The crash occurred near Medhani Nagar, close to the Adani-operated airport, where smoke was seen rising shortly after the impact.
Emergency response teams remain at the site, continuing rescue and relief operations. Authorities are yet to release details on casualties or the cause of the crash.
