Awantipora: Police in Awantipora carried out extensive cordon and search operations at multiple locations across the police district, including areas where a recent military operation took place and at the residences of the killed militants and their associates.
The operations are part of sustained efforts to dismantle the militant ecosystem, identify and take action against active and inactive militant associates, and eliminate remaining support structures aiding militancy in the area, police said in a statement on Monday.
Moreover, in Shopian, Police continued searches and raids for the third consecutive day across the district.
