Srinagar: Sakina Itoo on Tuesday said that all schools and colleges in the Kashmir division will remain shut until March 7, 2026.
In a post on X, she wrote, “All schools and colleges of the Kashmir division to remain closed till 7th of March 2026.”
The decision has been taken as a precaution in view of the prevailing situation to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Officials said further updates on the reopening of educational institutions will be issued in due course. Students, parents and faculty have been advised to follow official channels for timely information. (KNC)
