New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on March 6.
In total, 958 candidates have successfully qualified for 1,087 vacancies in services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other central Group A and Group B services.
Among the successful candidates, 317 belong to the general category, 104 are from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 306 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 73 from Scheduled Tribes (ST). The final result is based on marks obtained in the written examination held in August 2025 and the personality test conducted between December 2025 and February 2026.

Candidates can check the final result by visiting the official UPSC website upsconline.gov.in. After opening the homepage, click on the “Final Result – Civil Services Examination 2025” link. The result will download in a roll-number format, and candidates can search for their roll number to see if they have qualified.
The interview stage for shortlisted candidates began in January 2026 and took place at the UPSC headquarters located at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. The personality test carried 275 marks.
Candidates who have qualified will be appointed to services such as IAS, IPS, IFS, Indian Revenue Service, Indian Trade Service, and other central services.
