Srinagar: For the people of Srinagar, traffic jams have become a part of everyday life rather than an occasional problem.

Every day, thousands of commuters heading to offices, schools, colleges, hospitals and markets spend long hours stuck in slow-moving traffic.

What should be a short journey often turns into a frustrating wait, wasting time and adding to stress.

The impact is felt across the city.

Office-goers arrive late to work, students struggle to reach their classes on time, shopkeepers face delays in serving customers and receiving supplies, and tourists spend valuable time stuck in congestion instead of exploring the city.

Even ambulances and other emergency vehicles often find it difficult to move through the packed roads, raising concerns about public safety.
