At least three people were injured Tuesday after Israeli shelling struck Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported, as Israeli military operations continued across the Palestinian territory.

The injuries were reported amidst ongoing attacks in Gaza, where civilians have been repeatedly displaced and living conditions have deteriorated.

The central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah has been a recipient of a large influx of displaced Palestinians and has faced continued Israeli air force and artillery fire during the conflict.

The injuries were also reported in light of continued fighting and Israeli bombing across the enclave despite an international push for a lasting ceasefire. Al Jazeera reported  Israeli attacks were continuing throughout the Gaza Strip, including in the central and southern parts of the enclave.
