He added that this is the height of things that despite dozens of braid chopping incidents Govt has not been able to uncover the mystery behind braid chopping, which is indicative of utter failure of the Govt on all fronts.
Mir described the braid chopping as an attempt to create fear psychosis among the women, besides putting a big question mark on the ruling dispensation, which is credited of creating a history of misrule, mis-management and failures on all counts.
Seeking explanation from the Govt, Mir added that braid chopping is an attack on the modesty of the women, which will not be tolerated.
Stating that it will be quite difficult for the victims to come out of the fear and trauma they have undergone due to braid chopping, Mir asked the Govt to provide compensation to victims to the tune of Rs. one crore, for the fact it will not be less than a tribulation and social stigma for the victim.
