Six civilians killed in suicide blast near Afghan National Intelligence office

Kabul: At least 6 civilians where killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up near Afghanistan’s national intelligence agency compound in Kabul.

Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry has said that, attack took place at 7:40 a.m. at Abdul-Hak Square in the Shash Darak neighborhood of Kabul close to the entrance of the National Directorate for Security (NDS).

Following the attack, the security forces have closed off the main road leading to the NDS building.

A spokesperson of the Interior Ministry has said that, six civilians were killed while riding in their car when the attacker, traveling on foot, detonated his bomb.

The Daesh has claimed responsibility for the attack through a message on the AMAQ website associated with the terrorists.
