Resolves to carry forward his vision for development of the state

Srinagar: The youth wing of PDP on Sunday paid tributes to late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and resolved to carry forward his ‘vision for development’ of the state.

The PDP youth wing held a condolence meeting which was chaired by its president, Waheed Ur Rehman Para. “Mufti Sahib was an institution. He has left his legacy and vision for development of Jammu and Kashmir. He always responded to voice of his conscience,” Parra said.

PDP youth Secretary Aarif Laigroo said “Mufti Sahib struggled for resolving problems faced by the Kashmiris. The biggest tribute to him will be to carry forward his vision,” Laigaroo said.

A huge number of workers had gathered at the death anniversary of the PDP founder, in Darashikoh park and extended unconditional support to Party President Mehbooba Mufti for carrying the Patrons mission to successful culmination.

Mehbooba addressed the assembly of the party cadre recalling thee PDP mentor’s achievements. The workers collectively and individually offered Fateh and reverence to departed leader on his second anniversary.

Mehbooba said that Jammu and Kashmir is again passing through a critical phase as relations between India and Pakistan have unfortunately receded back to confrontation after a brief phase of bonhomie and cooperation during Vajpayee and Musharaf governments. She said Mufti’s vision of peace through dialogue and reconciliation was the main source of that discourse.
