As US prepares to impose travel restrictions, Pakistan set to appoint new envoy

As United States prepares to impose strict limitations on the travel of Pakistani diplomats in two days, the country is all set to appoint a new Washington ambassador.

Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary said at a news briefing on Wednesday that the embassy had received the agreement for the new ambassador, Ali Jahangir Siddiqui, on Tuesday, paving the way for his appointment.
