Srinagar: Budgam district in Central Kashmir recorded the lowest turnout of 2.6 per cent till 10 am in Kashmir valley while Baramulla recorded the highest during the eight phase of Panchayat polls taking place today.
Here are the figures released by the chief electoral officer:
Kupwara 9.3 percent, Bandipora 3.5 percent, Baramulla 14.8 percent, Srinagar 4.8 percent, Budgam 2.6 percent, Reasi 18.4 percent, Kathua 27.4 percent, Samba 29.7 percent, Jammu 29.8 percent and Rajouri 29 percent.
