Srinagar: National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Monday filed nomination papers for upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Srinagar.
Abdullah will contest the polls from Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency and filed the papers at Deputy Commissioners office in Srinagar.
He was accompanied by his son and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah and other party leaders.

Besides heading the state as CM from 1996-2002, the senior Abdullah is a three time parliamentarian and former Union minister.
