Srinagar: National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Friday hit out at Narendra Modi saying that he talks about the Indian Premier League (IPL) but forgets about the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The former Chief Minister added that Modi is the first Prime Minister of India since 1996 who has failed to hold Assembly elections in JK on time.
Why is the Hon PM talking about IPL? His is the first government since 1996 that has been unable/unwilling to have assembly elections in J&K on schedule. Why doesn’t he talk about that also? https://t.co/oFnkFmhUgm

But there were 2 occasions when it could not be played in India, it was played in South Africa. This happened in 2009 & 2014. The govt at the centre was so scared of terrorists.
