Two more polling booths attacked in Pulwama, no injuries reported

Srinagar: Suspected militants on Monday attacked another polling station with a bomb in Pulwama district in South Kashmir, reported the GNS.

Reports said that unknown persons hurled the bomb on a polling booth stationed inside Government Higher secondary school Chatpora. The device exploded outside the wall of school. However, no injury was reported in the blast.

An official confirmed the incident and said that a hunt has been launched to nab persons involved in the attack.

Meanwhile suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a polling booth Tikan village in the southern district however the device didn’t explode. Police and bomb disposal squad immediately rushed to the spot and the device is being destroyed.

Earlier, a grenade was lobbed towards Rohmoo polling station in Pulwama. No injuries were reported in the blast.
