Case diary to be filed today, Court likely to issue further orders
Srinagar: Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) Tuesday submitted to Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Bandipora the status report of the alleged rape case of a minor girl in the district.
Official sources said one of the prosecuting officers in the SIT filed the status report before CJM Bandipora, Raja Mohammad Tasleem and the orders regarding the case will be issued on Wednesday.
The police, however, have not submitted the case dairy yet for which the CJM gave them till Thursday.
“Only status report of the case was submitted yesterday. The CJM then asked the SIT officials to submit the case dairy file by Thursday evening. The CJM has issued orders related to the case yesterday,” sources said.
They added the case-dairy was not submitted as multilevel investigation was going on in the case.
