JK records two more deaths due to COVID, death-toll 90

Srinagar: As J&K fights the deadly Corona virus, the death toll tally is on an increase. On Thursday, a 75 year old man hailing from Mehjoor Nagar Srinagar succumbed to the deadly virus.

In yet another case, a 57 year old man who was a resident of Poonch district, passed away after being diagnosed with the fatal virus. He passed away after being admitted in Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.

Medical superintendent of GMC Jammu, Dr Data Singh said that he was also suffering from other body ailments like diabetes and kidney issues.

“He was sent to GMC Jammu from Samba and was treated but last night,” he added

The death toll in J&K as of now stands at 90 and the total number of positive cases till now counts to 6,423 with 2,516 active cases and 3,818 recovered cases.
