Srinagar: An armed forces personnel was injured on Monday evening after suspected militants attacked a Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) party in Nehama area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources said that militants attacked this evening CRPF camp in Nehama. In this incident, Assistant Sub-inspector of CRPF identified as S Sukumar of A/18 battalion was injured.
Sukumar received a bullet wound on his foot and was subsequently shifted to hospital for the treatment.
Official sources added that a manhunt has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
