PDP’s Jammu office attacked, say party leaders

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Jammu office was attacked by some right-wing activists and physically assaulted two of its leaders, the party alleged on Saturday.

The former legislator and PDP leader, Firdous Tak said that some right-wing activists attacked their office in Jammu at around 05:30 PM today.

“The right-wing activists entered into the party office in Jammu and tried to physically assault me and my colleague,” he said.

He said that soon after the attack, he tried to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, but he didn’t receive his calls, which he said, “means the administration is in league with such things.”
