Jammu: Four unidentified militants were killed and two armed forces personnel injured in an early morning military operation against militants near Ban Toll Plaza of Nagrota in Jammu district.

Official sources said that the operation began after militants opened fire at a joint team of JK police and CRPF personnel near toll plaza in Ban area.
The militants, officials said, were hiding in a vehicle and in the initial firing, two armed forces personnel belonging to Special Operations Group of JK police were injured who were later hospitalised.
They said four militants have been killed in the operation and the area is now being sanitised.
The operation has also led the suspension of traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway; however, officials said traffic is likely to be restored soon.
