Srinagar: Meteorological department of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday predicted light snowfall in higher regions of JK and Ladakh during the next 12 hours.
An official from MeT department told Free Press Kashmir that light snowfall is expected over higher reaches of JK and Ladakh today and another spell of rain, snow of light to moderate intensity is expected at scattered to fairly widespread places of JK and Kargil especially over Drass Zojila area from November 24 to 25th.
There is, however, no forecast of heavy snowfall, till ending November in JK and Ladakh, the official said.
