Srinagar: Two armed forces personnel were injured on Thursday afternoon after suspected militants fired upon them in HMT area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Quoting official sources, news agency GNS reported that militants fired upon the armed forces party in HMT area, resulting in serious injuries to two army personnel.
They said both the personnel were soon evacuated to an army hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off and searches are going on.
