With teacher’s death in Bandipora, cardiac arrest kills 12 in a week in Kashmir

Bandipora: A 50-year-old private school teacher died of a cardiac arrest at his native village in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday morning.

An official said that a private school teacher Mohammad Ramzan Rather son of late Aarif Rather, a resident of Sheikh Mohalla Ajas, suffered a cardiac arrest today at his home.

He said that Rather was immediately taken to community health center Sumbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, the total number of deaths due to cardiac arrest in the valley has reached to 12 in the last one week.
