Pulwama: A military operation against militants has started in Chewakalan village in Zadoora of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
Police officials said that following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area, a Cordon and Search operation (CASO) was launched this evening.
During the search, the hiding militants fired upon the armed forces, which was retaliated, thus leading to the operation, they said.
