Bandipora: Another militant has been killed taking the toll to two in an ongoing operation in the upper belt of Brar-Aragam area in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.
The officials said that one more militant has been killed amid searches taking the toll to 02. “However, the identity of both the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, ” they said.
Earlier, the operation broke out shortly after joint armed forces including the army’s 13RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants.
