Pulwama: A military operation against militants has started in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
A police official said that military operation against militants has started in Drabgam area of Pulwama as armed forces recieved input about the presence of militants in the said area.
Meanwhile, JK police in a tweet, wrote: “Encounter has started at Drabgam area of Pulwama. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow”.
Pertinently, this is the second military operation south Kashmir is witnessing in last 18 hours.
Earlier, the operation started in Khudpora Kulgam district where a militant affiliated with Hizb was killed and police says the operation against the militants is underway.
