Srinagar: Searches have resumed at a military operation site in Sultanpora forests in Sheeri Chandoosa area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Official sources told Global News Service that search operation has resumed at the military operation site a day after there was an exchange of fire between militants and a joint team of armed forces.
The operation was halted due to darkness and resumed this morning with the first light. Since it’s a dense forest, the operation may prolong.
Yesterday an army personnel was injured in the initial exchange of fire between militants and armed forces. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where his condition is stated to be stable. (GNS)
