Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar alias Malik Sardar Singh was shot dead on Saturday by two unidentified bike riders in Lahore Pakistan.

Paramjit Singh Panjwad took over the command of the KCF in 1986, after the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) chief General Labh Singh was killed by the police.

Panjwar, 63, a native of Tarn Taran, a district in Punjab, was identified as a terrorist under the Unlawful acts (Prevention) Act in July 2020.

He was posted at Sahakari Cooperative Bank Branch Sohal, before joining militancy in 1986. In the 1990s, Panjwar gained control of KCF and emigrated to Pakistan after Labh Singh was killed by Indian armed forces.

KCF was founded in February 1986. According to reports, the prohibited group, which was supported by Paramjit Singh Panjwar, participated in a number of attacks in India, including the bombing in October 1988, the death of 10 Rai Sikhs in Firozpur, and the murder of Major General BN Kumar.
