Duo steals money from patients and attendants at GMC Baramulla, arrested: Police

Baramulla: On Monday, the police made two arrests in connection with pickpocketing incidents. The arrests took place in GMC Baramulla, and during the operation, the officers recovered the stolen cash in possession of the duo.

According to a police, two pickpockets have been apprehended in Baramulla. The suspects have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Gojree, son of Bashir Ahmad Gojree, hailing from Drangbal, and Manesha, who is originally from New Plot Jammu but currently residing in Drangbal Baramulla.

The arrests were made in connection with their involvement in stealing money from patients and their attendants who were visiting GMC Baramulla. It appears that the pickpockets were taking advantage of the significant influx of patients to the medical center.

During the operation, the police successfully recovered the stolen cash that was found in their possession. The authorities have registered a case against the suspects under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Baramulla, and investigations are underway.
