Kishtwar: A devastating fire in the Dachan area of Kishtwar late Wednesday resulted in the complete destruction of a cowshed, leading to the tragic death of at least 75 domestic animals.
The fire broke out at midnight and quickly consumed the cowshed, which housed 75 sheep and goats. Unfortunately, all of these animals perished in the blaze. The cowshed was entirely gutted by the flames, Hindustan Times reported quoting a police officer.
The cowshed belonged to a local resident identified as Lala Chopan. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, as stated by the police officer.
