Kupwara: A joint team of armed forces killed a militant after he tried to cross Line of Control in Jumagunf area of Keran sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said on Monday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Kashmir Zone Police said that the joint operation commenced yesterday during which a militant was killed.
“In a joint operation that commenced yesterday, Army and Kupwara Police have successfully foiled an infiltration attempt in Jumagund area of Keran sector in which one terrorist has been killed. Search operation continues,” police said.
