Srinagar: Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday ordered change in school timing in all government and private schools from November 1.
The changes will be effective for recognised government and private educational institutions in Kashmir division.
DSEK in an order said that schools falling within Srinagar municipality limits shall function from 10am to 3pm.
However, the department has also ordered that the schools falling outside municipality limits of Srinagar district and other areas of Kashmir division shall function from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
“All the concerned institutions must strictly adhere to the given order/instructions and any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously”, reads the order.
