Irani missiles targeted two bases of the Balochi militant group Jaish al Adl in Pakistan on Tuesday, as reported by Iranian state media.

This action followed Iran’s Revolutionary Guards’ missile attacks on targets in Iraq and Syria the previous day. The Jaish al Adl has previously attacked Iranian security forces along the border with Pakistan, Reuters reported.

Iranian state media reported the destruction of these bases by missiles and drones, providing no further details. In response, Pakistan strongly condemned Iran’s unprovoked violation of its airspace, resulting in the tragic death of two children and injuring three girls.

Pakistan expressed serious concern about the violation of sovereignty, highlighting existing communication channels between the two nations.

The statement emphasized that such actions, despite communication channels, are unacceptable and can harm bilateral trust. Pakistan stressed the need for coordinated regional action against terrorism and emphasized the importance of good neighborly relations.

According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, precision missile and drone strikes obliterated two key strongholds of the Jaysh al-Dhulm (Jaish al Adl) group in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The operation focused on the Kouh-Sabz region, a major hub for Jaish al Adl militants.

The report mentioned that additional information would be provided in upcoming updates. The context highlighted a previous attack by Jaish al Adl on an Iranian police station in Rask, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 Iranian police forces.

Following the incident, Iranian and Pakistani foreign ministers discussed enhancing security cooperation, with the Pakistani counterpart condemning the attack and acknowledging terrorism as a common threat to both nations and the wider region.
