New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, responding to the latest ED summons related to the excise policy case, has expressed willingness to appear before the agency through video-conferencing after March 12, PTI reported quoting government sources on Monday.

Kejriwal, who has previously avoided multiple ED summonses, deeming them illegal and urging the agency to wait due to ongoing court proceedings, maintained the stance that the summonses are “illegal.”

However, he stated his readiness to answer the agency’s questions, as per the sources quoted by the news agency.

Kejriwal is also scheduled to appear before a city court on March 16. The court has requested his personal appearance in a complaint case filed by the ED regarding his non-compliance with their summonses.
