Srinagar: Massive deployment of armed forces personnel was witnessed across Srinagar ahead of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir on March 7.

This will be his first visit to the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 and second to Jammu in two months.

Apart from the heavy presence of armed forces, CCTVs and drone cameras were also used for the surveillance. Checking of vehicles entering the city has been intensified and barricades are erected to regulate the traffic flow near the venue. Modi will be addressing a public rally at Bakshi Stadium.
