Udhampur: The Udhampur constituency has registered a voter turnout of over 43 percent at 1 pm as it went to polls in the first phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls on Friday.
An official said that at 1 pm a voter turnout of 43.11 % was registered in the Udhampur constituency, while the polling has started picking up.
Voting for the high-stake constituency started at 7 am today amid heavy rain in several parts of Udhampur and Kathua districts.
