Congress snatched reservation from OBCs and gave it to Muslims in Karnataka: Modi

Narendra Modi.

Sirmaur: During a rally in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh,  Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of taking away reservations from Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and reallocating them to Muslims in Karnataka.

This statement comes amid heightened political tensions and debates over reservation policies in the state. Modi criticised the Congress for what he described as an unfair redistribution.

Last week, he said that SP and Congress would exploit voters’ support to gain power and then reward those involved in “vote jihad” with portions of public assets.

Speaking at a rally in the area, Modi advised citizens to be wary of the intentions of the two opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh.

“I am here today to caution you about the SP and Congress. They will seek your votes, but once in power, they will distribute favours to those who engage in ‘vote jihad’ for them,” he remarked.

Modi said, “This time, the SP and Congress have openly revealed their intentions even before the elections. Congress is pledging to scrutinise everyone’s assets and then allocate a share to the vote bank supporting ‘vote jihad.’”

Referring to recent remarks made by a Samajwadi Party and Congress member urging support for an INDIA bloc candidate through “vote jihad,” Modi reiterated his stance against such tactics.

In a scathing attack on the Congress in Bundelkhand regarding Article 370 and its stance on Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities, Modi invited Congress leaders to witness the valor of the region firsthand.

“The Congress is threatening to restore Article 370 in Kashmir and expressing fear of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. They should come to Bundelkhand and see what courage truly means,” he urged.
