Srinagar: Amarnath Yatra was temporarily halted on both routes to the cave shrine on Saturday due to heavy rainfall, officials said.
They said that intermittent heavy rainfall is along the Baltal and Pahalgam routes since the previous night.
The suspension was a precautionary step to ensure the safety of pilgrims, the officials stated.
