A man, who was wielding two knives, was shot and killed by police on Tuesday near Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, where the Republican National Convention is taking place, according to Fox News.
The incident occurred close to 13th Street and West Vliet Street, approximately two miles away from Fiserv Forum.
The Milwaukee police association informed Fox News that an “outside police agency” was responsible for the shooting.
According to a source from the Columbus police speaking to Fox News, five officers from their department discharged their firearms, resulting in the death of one person.
The source noted that none of the officers were injured. The circumstances leading to the shooting are currently unclear.
