Rahul Gandhi to lead key meeting with JK Congress leaders in New Delhi

New Delhi: Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi is set to lead an important meeting with senior party leaders from Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi, according to reports.

The meeting coincides with the Election Commission of India’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections.

Attendees will include JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani, working president Raman Bhalla, AICC general secretary and former JKPCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Tariq Hamid Karra, former JKPCC president Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed, former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, former MP and Minister Ch Lal Singh, JKPCC senior vice president and former Minister Mula Ram, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, senior vice president Ghulam Nabi Monga, and others, Daily Excelsior reported.

The meeting will take place at the All India Congress Committee office in New Delhi at 6pm today. Reports suggest that Gandhi will gather feedback from the JK leaders on the upcoming Assembly elections and the current situation in the region, with the aim of strengthening the Congress party in the Union Territory ahead of the polls.
