CRPF officer killed during exchange of fire with militants in Udhampur, says police

Udhampur: An officer of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was killed during exhange of fire with militants in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district on Monday.

A top police officer told GNS that a joint patrolling party of police and CRPF was on routinw area domination when exhange of fire took place with militants.

During the operation, inspector of CRPF namely Kuldeep Singh died on the spot.

Meanwhile, more reinforcement has been rushed to the spot and whole area has been cordoned off. (GNS)
